What gets shipped every month on Growth?

Four named-author pillar articles, eight on-page rewrites on existing URLs, three to five niche backlinks, brand-mention cleanup and a delta report.

Every month the same fixed deliverables go out. We do not throttle scope to fit calendar slip, and we do not let the retainer drift into "we did some research."

- **4 articles**: 1 pillar + 3 cluster, 1.8–2.5k words, written under a real human author byline (your team, our team, or a co-authored byline with named expert). - **8 on-page rewrites**: existing URLs lifted to the GS Playbook v4.3 template, with schema, FAQ and Quick Facts added. - **3–5 backlinks**: niche-relevant referring domains earned through guest articles, podcasts, expert quotes (HARO / Featured / Qwoted) and original research placements. No PBNs, no comment spam. - **Brand-mention pass**: Reddit, Wikipedia stub, dev.to, Medium, HN, Quora — we make sure the brand is named and linked correctly across the platforms AI engines pull from. - **Delta report**: month-over-month rankings, GSC clicks, AI Overview hits, ChatGPT and Perplexity citations.

How does Growth measure AI-search citations?

We run a monthly prompt panel across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Bing Copilot, and log every brand mention and source URL pulled.

The panel uses 30–60 prompts derived from your keyword cluster — informational, comparison and "best of" queries an in-market user would actually type. We log the response, the sources cited, and whether your brand is named, linked, or absent. Over six months we expect citation share to climb from baseline to 15–25% on the panel, depending on category competition. The full prompt log and raw responses are stored in your dashboard; the delta report just summarises them.

What does the monthly cadence look like in practice?

Week 1 — content brief + on-page list. Weeks 2–3 — drafting and review. Week 4 — publish, schema, links, monthly delta. Repeat.

The cadence is fixed. Onboarding (month 0) takes four weeks: keyword cluster lock, author bench setup, dashboard wiring, first two briefs. From month 1 onward you get a Slack channel with the named principal SEO, a Monday brief drop, a Thursday review window, and a final monthly delta call. There is no "checking in" — every artefact is in writing.

Growth is the engagement that compounds. Foundation gets the technical baseline right; Growth keeps shipping the content, the links and the on-page work that lets the baseline turn into rankings and citations.

Six months is the minimum because three months of work cannot beat a competitor’s two-year head start. Twelve months on Growth is what most clients run, with a quarterly review that decides whether to stay, expand to Authority, or wind down.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to be on Foundation first?

Strongly recommended but not required. Without Foundation we charge an extra $1,800/month for the first three months to absorb the technical fixes.

Who actually writes the articles?

A 4-person editorial bench led by our senior SEO content lead, with named expert co-authors (lawyer, CPA, security researcher) on regulated topics.

AI-assisted drafting is fine — AI-only publishing is not. Every piece carries a real author byline and passes a de-AI editorial pass before publishing.

Can you keep up if our market suddenly shifts (regulation, hack, listing)?

Yes — we hold one rapid-response slot per month for category news, swapped against the planned cluster article.

Do you guarantee rankings or AI citations?

No. We guarantee output, cadence, the senior contact, and the dashboard. Outcome guarantees are a red flag in this category and we do not offer them.

Want a working version of this on your domain?

A 30-minute audit call is enough to know whether this fits. We'll be honest about whether Foundation, Growth, Authority — or a different vendor — is right.
